Next: open d3_snapshot_diff and load the snapshot next to another snapshot (from this page or from the plugin). The keyframes file is separate: every animated layer parameter in the show (two or more keys, or an expression) and every layer's CDL, with times, values, interpolation, Notch parameter names and each CDL's slope, offset, power and saturation. The diff tool doesn't read it, and the interpolation names are inferred rather than confirmed in Designer.

Not in a .d3 archive
- Option switches:
options.binandmachine.binaren't packed into archives, so they're recorded as unknown and the diff tool will say it couldn't compare them. - Some build details: the Designer version, revision, branch and build id are included. Licence type, custom release name, RenderStream version and the release flags are left empty, so they show as changed when you compare against a plugin capture.
- Capture time: set to when the archive file was last modified.
